Ok time to clear things up.Karaoke CDs are designed to be used on a karaoke machine, which you connect to yourTV to display the words.This is a CDG and it will show lyrics on your TV via a karaoke machine just as expected.Anyone who expected the lyrics to show on a computer screen will be disappointed.It is not designed to show lyrics on a computer screen. It is designed to be operatedvia a karaoke machine connected to a tv.The entire karaoke experience includes microphones and the lyrics being fed to youwith background music to help you sing the song.Expecting all of that to happen on a computer screen and then to rate the product as poorbecause of your misunderstanding, is unfair.

Karaoke CD+G, the G stands for graphics, the words appear on the screen and change color timed to when you sing them. The songs are the movie versions, complete with dialogue and pauses (rather long on "Do You Want To Make A Snowman" during the travel and death sequence of their parents). The music is a bit higher quality than the usual karaoke reproduction disks. I assume that the vocal tracks are not laid down by the original artists, but they are close enough in quality to make me not exactly sure. This is not the norm in ordinary karaoke productions. To see the graphics you need a CD+G player. A regular CD or DVD player will not do the trick. This would seem self-evident but from some of the reviews it would appear that not everyone has experience with karaoke disks. In conclusion, a very fine effort from Disney for fans of Frozen who wish to sing along in a more tradition karaoke setting. Hi. Forgot to mention that in the CD case is a booklet that includes all the words to all the songs. This is helpful for those of us who wish to memorize the words so as not to have to wait for the words to change color on the screen. Sometimes one can get a little behind the music waiting on the color changes. Or maybe that is just me. Anyway, enjoy!

The problem with the other reviews is that they don't know karaoke. Being a karaoke fanatic since the 80's the majority of karaoke will NOT come with original singers for the demos. The demos are only a guide. Karaoke is the art of singing it yourself. The demos provide a guide if you forget how a song or a certain part goes. Basically, if you want the original vocals you have to buy the CD not karaoke.That said we love it. My kids are already belting Let it Go like crazy. I only wish they had the Frozen Heart. My son sings it and I can't find it anywhere yet. The instrumentals are excellent as far as karaoke goes.

Great CD with great quality. I was hesitant to purchase this CD due to the negative reviews--however, I realized that the negative reviews all focus on the vinyl version. We got the regular CD version, and the sound quality is great. Amazon should really separate reviews for the vinyl vs. regular CD version.

I thought it was just my player or my ears, but it turns out that many other people have noticed the poor audio quality on this vinyl. Let It Go is unlistenable and embarrassing to play in front of house guests because it makes it sound like my record player blows.

My 6 year old son absolutely loves Frozen and we listen to this in the car all the time. It's the big songs from the movie so it's not a super long CD and it keeps his interest. I'd definitely recommend for the Frozen fan on your list.

This was a birthday gift for my 4 year old daughter. She is in love! The disc includes all the original songs from the movie. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because it was shipped in a really flimsy box (that could have easily been smashed open during shipment) and has a crack in the c.d. case. It should have been shipped in a padded envelope or something.

If you are looking for high fidelity and something to please your ears, this isn't the version to buy. I purchased with the high standards that vinyl records have established in mind. Man was this a let down. It literally sounds worse than a CD rip. Voices are fuzzy and distorted at anything above a low/moderate volume. Really, for such a successful film, I would have thought they could have managed a proper vinyl pressing. I am unable to tell if this was even looked at by a sound engineer before pressing.

When Dark Horse acquired the rights to translate and reprint Moebius' work for the North American market, I think we were all expecting that the classic action/adventure/sci-fi material would come first. Dark Horse threw us a curve ball, and decided to lead off with his more philosophical and introspective work-- the stream of consciousness "Inside Moebius'" series and the sci-fi ecological meditation "The World of Edena". It's been strong, inspired work, but probably something of a shock for fans that want to see Arzach fly around on a dinosaur thing."The Art of Edena" is very much a companion to the "World of Edena" collection. There isn't much here but a few short stories and concept art that compliment the Edena series without really adding much to it. That said, I can't say that it's inessential because it's Moebius, one of the few figures in comics that deserves to have every panel scrutinized. If you liked the initial Dark Horse "Edena" volume, you'll probably enjoy this-- it dives a bit into Moebius' thought process as the series evolved. If you haven't read the initial "Edena" volume, you'll need to do so to really grasp what the supplimental material in "Art of Edena" means. (If you--gasp-- didn't like "World of Edena", then you'll have no interest in this volume, and I suspect that you have no soul.)

Way back in 1987, Marvel Comics released Jean Giraud’s “Once Upon a Star” through their Epic imprint and I immediately fell in love with the dreamlike style of Mobius. What I failed to realize was that I didn’t get the complete story because it was released in later volumes of the series which I didn’t get. Last year, I got the completion of the story in “The World of Edena”, released by Dark Horse and discovered that I liked the parts I read, better than the parts I hadn’t. Now, Dark Horse has release “The Art of Edena” as a companion book but there is a lot more here than just Edena related art.There is a whole lot of stuff in this book besides artwork and a story recap of Edena. There is an 8-page story called The Repairman. We also get a 4-page story called “Seeing Naples” which I had already read when Epic reprinted it and loved it from the moment I saw it. Along with “Seeing Naples” we get “Dying to See Naples” which is much longer at 15 pages but for me a lot less impactful. One thing to note is that “Seeing Naples” is unique in that it is the only short story in this book with dialogue. The 24-page “Montrouge Mystery” and the 23-page “Journey” aren’t really stories but are more a series of images with a loose theme. They feature a lot of 2-page spreads and are quite lovely. We also get the 23-page “Planet Once More” as well as 5 pages of stills from a CGI film made based on the short wordless story.I love the art of Jean Giraud but I do prefer when it is accompanied by an actual story. He has a very dream like feel to his art and writing but I find all these dialogue free stories somewhat forgettable. Other people may allow themselves to get lost in the artwork and obviously there are tons of art books that have not even a semblance of a story. I also own Inside Moebius which is the first of five books but I think for now I’m kind of Moebius’d out. There are a lot of other great stories by Giraud that deserve to be reprinted and I’ll probably wait for those rather than get more of the extraneous material.

This is a must have if you're a Moebius fan...I have several of his books and The Art of Edena is a great addition to my collection. Even if you're a Miyazaki fan, you will also enjoy Moebius art. Highly recommend this book and get this before the prices goes up.

Absolutely beautiful reproductions of Moebius' work. You really get a sense of his economy of line, but stunning attention to detail. The color gradiations are a revelation! This is the kind of book you have to have in your hands to truly appreciate.

Thin on substance but Moebius art work makes up for this.

Cannot deny that Moebius is and perhaps still the greatest artist and illustrator of all time.

Anyone who wants to study his work will benefit greatly from this book with a glimpse into how he thinks and works
